Music and Worship

Shelly Armstrong, Director of Choirs, leads our musical members in praising God through participation in Adult Choir and the Joyful Noise Handbell Choir. Mark Kanitz, Director of Music Ministry, leads opening music at GIFT on Sunday mornings and accompanies the children when they share the music they’ve learned in worship. Uplifting selections from a singing quartet or a brass quintet inspire members at special times during the year.

Rehearsal Schedule

(Wednesday evenings)

Joyful Noise Handbell Choir rehearses at 6:00pm.

Adult Choir rehearses at 7:00pm.

Opportunities for worship are provided on Saturday evenings at 5:30 and Sunday mornings at 10:00. Worship occurs in a warm and friendly atmosphere, is primarily traditional in nature, and includes weekly communion, rich musical selections, and children’s sermons.

It takes the efforts of many to bring about a meaningful worship experience that motivates participants and glorifies God. So many of our members faithfully serve as pianists/organists, greeters, lay worship assistants, communion assistants, altar guild members, acolytes, projection booth volunteers, sound board volunteers, and ushers. They are happy to do so and are very much appreciated by the congregation.
