Worship is central to achieving our church’s mission, and we work hard to engage in creative ministry that is accessible and welcoming to anyone who wants to encounter the joy of Jesus Christ. We are a church whose unity is in Jesus Christ, who gathers us around word and water, wine and bread. We believe that people meet God in Scripture, where God’s relationship to — and intention for — humankind is revealed.
Holy Communion is served each week, and we trust that Christ is present in the meal, around the meal, and through the meal. The Holy Spirit gathers people through the means of grace, the Word of God, and the Holy Sacraments.
Grace Upon Grace: The Heart of Worship
Worship is not about what we do, having the perfect language, or the best understanding. The heart of worship is what God does and continues to do, and what God continually gives, which is grace upon grace. In the presence of all of us together, in baptism, in the word sung, preached, prayed, and through the body and blood of Christ in Holy Communion, we participate in God’s mission for the world.

There are many opportunities to worship with us, and a variety of different platforms that help us spread God’s word to as many people in our congregation as we can.
We offer opportunities to worship Saturday evenings at 5:30 and Sunday mornings at 10:00. If you’re looking for a place to gather, worship, and thrive in Christ, we hope you’ll find a way to join us!

Being able to gather and grow together in Christ is important — in fact, it’s one of our main focuses here at Our Savior. And while, ideally, we’d love to be able to greet all of our members in-person, we know that there are many circumstances that can get in the way of getting to church.
With that in mind, we offer a few different ways to hear the Gospel and engage in worship, no matter where you are! Live streams of our worship services are available on Facebook, as well as radio broadcasts via our local radio station. You can find these broadcasts at AM 1590, FM 98.9, online at waynedailynews.com, and on the Wayne Radio app. We are doing our best to reach those who are looking to find an accessible, welcoming way to worship.
